Cold Snap Heats Up Alice Springs Blues Festival

Cold Snap were invited to play in the heart of Australia on the Australia Day weekend at the Alice Springs Blues Festival.  The temperature was hot and Alice was definitely in need of a cool change, it certainly arrived when Cold Snap hit the stage.  The response to our performances were unbelievable!  We've made so many new friends/fans and have even been offered more interstate shows as a result.

Some of our highlights were meeting meeting Angry Anderson, having a pep talk with Matt Taylor, and how can we forget our Sonia gracing the stage with The Giants for their rendition of Sweet Home Alabama!

Congratulations to all the staff and volunteers that helped put on such a great weekend of music.  We look forward to getting back there next year to do it all over again.  Who knows, we may even be back there a lot sooner than you think...

Hume City Council - Carols By Candlelight

Cold Snap were invited to perform a 20 minute set of their Rockin' Bluesy Christmas tunes at the Hume City Council's very own Carols By Candlelight; held on Sunday 18th December.  Feedback received back at the Hume City Council was that Cold Snap were one of the highlights on the night.  As a result they have been invited to close the Craigieburn Festival on 25th February 2012.

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year

It's hard to believe that it's that time of the year again.  Time to thank you for all your support throughout 2011.  We really appreciate you coming out to our live shows and supporting our music.  2012 is already gearing up to be a big year for us; with the inclusion of Jimmy Fewings on bass, residencies secured, and invites coming in for various Festivals/Events.  2012 is going to be an important year for us and we'd love you to come along for the ride.  However until then, we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Safe & Happy New Year and looking forward to seeing you again in 2012...
